Remember when magazines were folding left and right? Everyone thought it was the end of print. One magazine, Interior Design, a SANDOW Publication, not only survived but flourished. It discovered, moved in, and occupied the deteriorated center of the design industry, and deftly redecorated the house. The new place is a remarkable party house, one with many rooms and affords unprecedented inclusiveness. At the hearth of design’s new home, the person who made it all possible: Interior Design‘s Editor-in-Chief Cindy Allen.
Cindy is a true communicator. Our conversation started so seamlessly we forgot to hit the record button. The first thing we recorded was Cindy saying, “I want it to be good for you. Whatever it is, I want it to be good for you.”
