NYCxDESIGN is a not-for-profit organization committed to empowering and promoting the city’s diverse creative community. NYCxDESIGN started as a City-led initiative in 2013 and through grassroots efforts evolved into an influential entity, unifying New York’s creative capital under one umbrella and drawing significant exposure and opportunities to the City’s design disciplines, people, events, and related industries. NYCxDESIGN organizes exceptional year-round programming, including its annual international festival. Diversity, purpose, cultural placemaking, economic opportunity, and creativity are core to the not-for-profit’s values.
Our Partnership
SANDOW Design Group, with NYCxDESIGN’s Steering Committee, stewarded the organization’s transition from a city-led initiative to its status as an independent non-profit organization today. SANDOW Design Group is the operational services partner to NYCxDESIGN and continues to be a key supporter of NYCxDESIGN’s year-round mission-based programs, and its design publications – Metropolis, Interior Design, and Luxe Interiors + Design – amplify the voice of the non-profit, bringing visibility and opportunity to New York City’s design community as a whole through their reach of 13m+ social media followers, 100+ print issues each year, and 10m+ views of DesignTV by SANDOW.
