Fred Segal Tokyo Opens With a Splash

Iconic California retailer Fred Segal has opened its first international outpost in Tokyo’s hip and trendy Daikanyama neighborhood and we promise it is just as fabulous as its California counterpart. The new boutique, on the site of a converted urban railway site, brings a touch of Los Angeles to Tokyo with separate men’s and women’s stores featuring the hottest designers (both global and local); an artisanal food market called The Mart, and a vintage Fred Segal-branded food truck.

Occupying three of five buildings at Log Road Daikanyama, a new pedestrian shopping development built on a converted railway site; Fred Segal Daikanyama’s modern, airy aesthetic fuses elements from the design of its original Melrose location with sleek influences of Japanese architecture.
