NEW YORK, April 20, 2015 – Luxe Interiors + Design (http://luxesource.com), the nation’s largest network of luxury shelter magazines,in partnership with the City of Beverly Hills and the Friends of Greystone, today announced the brand’s second national Designer Show House, Maison de Luxe, at Historic Greystone Estate in Beverly Hills, CA. More than twenty of the most sought-after interior designers from across the country will be invited to transform the 55-room, Baronial-style Doheny residence, known as Greystone Mansion. This Designer Show House will be unveiled on November 5, 2015, after which it will be open to the public for a limited time.
“We are delighted to bring some of America’s top interior designers together to reimagine this exceptional estate,” said Editor in Chief Pamela Jaccarino. “This talented group will infuse the property with a fresh sense of style and enchantment while honoring its architecture and history.”
The designer spaces will be featured in all 14 print editions of Luxe Interiors + Design’s January/February 2016 issue. Participants include such noted designers as Kristen Buckingham, Nina Campbell, Timothy Corrigan, Patrick Dragonette, Benjamin Dhong, Oliver Furth, Cliff Fong, Jane Hallworth, Lauren Liess, Molly Luetkemeyer, Amy Meier, Frances Merrill, Julie Massucco Kleiner and Melissa Warner, Brian Paquette, Mat Sanders, Andrea Schumacher, Mark D. Sikes, Sara Story, Summer Thornton, Benjamin Vandiver, Chloe Warner and Beth Webb.
Architect Gordon B. Kaufman began building Greystone for the Doheny family in 1927. The 46,000-square-foot estate, with formal gardens on 18.5 manicured acres, is situated in Trousdale Estates above famed Sunset Boulevard. Thanks to the generosity of participating designers and sponsors, and through Friends of Greystone, a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration of Historic Greystone Estate, the property continues to receive lasting improvements and working capital to help preserve its status as one of the great houses in America.
