NEW YORK, November 12, 2014 – Luxe Interiors + Design™ (luxesource.com), the nation’s largest network of luxury shelter magazines, will increase its frequency from a quarterly to bimonthly publishing schedule, starting with the September/October 2015 issue, today announced Adam I. Sandow, CEO and Chairman of SANDOW, publisher of Luxe Interiors + Design.
The upscale architecture and design publication has experienced enormous growth in both advertising and circulation over the past year, up 25 percent in ad revenue and 3.8 percent in newsstand sales, despite having the highest cover price in the shelter category, at $9.95.
With the change in frequency, Luxe will publish five issues in 2015 and six issues in 2016, when it moves to a regular bimonthly schedule.
Luxe Interiors + Design recently participated in its first MRI research study, where the findings confirm its position as the leading design resource for high-net-worth homeowners. According to MRI, the median income of a Luxe reader is $473,000 and average net worth is $2,468,000, significantly higher than any other shelter magazine. A Luxe reader’s average home value is $1,445,000 and 40 percent own a second home.
“Over the past decade, Luxe has grown from one regional edition into a national luxury media brand read by the most affluent homeowners in major markets across the country,” said Sandow. “We are thrilled to be increasing the magazine’s frequency and reach at a time when most shelter publications are losing market share.”
Earlier this year, Luxe launched in San Francisco, as well as a special Hamptons edition, bringing its refined editorial perspective to both consumers and local design professionals in these key markets while also expanding its portfolio to 14 editions nationwide.
