A different kind of company

In 2003, visionary media entrepreneur Adam I. Sandow started SANDOW with the goal to launch a truly innovative company that would reinvent the traditional publishing model. Since then, we’ve successfully built a diversified portfolio of B-to-C and B-to-B brands and have continued to grow: hiring while others are reducing their workforce, expanding our current businesses, launching new ones and finding ways to cross-pollinate our brands to better serve our audience and partners.

Our presence extends from local to global.

While the energy and entrepreneurial spirit we started with still exists, SANDOW has grown into a truly global company. Our rapid expansion from just a few employees a decade ago to hundreds worldwide is an example of our laser focus on creating ideas, brands and businesses that are simple yet brilliant—and approaching them in a way that no one else has.

Our magazines have a deep local presence in every major U.S. territory. And our international footprint reaches everywhere from Europe to Asia, with Material ConneXion libraries around the world, Fred Segal locations in Los Angeles, Tokyo and beyond, and international editions of our magazines in Turkey and China.

Working with world-renowned interior design and architecture firm Gensler, we created our global headquarters in New York City to have an open, modern floor plan that fuels collaboration among our brands, clients and partners, and serves as a showcase for the amazing things we’re doing across the company. Likewise, our corporate HQ in South Florida reflects who we are—energetic, entrepreneurial and inventive.
